The results from the poll show that most of you felt there were too many forums. The most popular choice, by far, was to consolidate them into chassis type, so that's what I've done.
Please let me know if you find any problems or I missed anything.
Thanks to Eric, for giving me a little kick and getting me started on the conversion.

| I own a 93 cobra and its more than alive with the stock set-up sitting in the garage sleeping in it bag with the occassional wakening for its checkup on lube, rust free, and its turning. The now installed 331 custom built by myself at the shop. This engine has a year of measurements, figuring, fab. work, assembly, proper tuning. yea its alive!!! |

John,
WIsh I knew for sure. Several years ago, an insurance guy told me that less than half are probably still alive. Hell, of the first three off the line, Ford crashed two.

I bought mine new in Feb 04 from dealership in Franklin TN. I still use the car as my daily driver, black with grey leather. I have 201,000 miles on the car and cannot believe it is still running as good as it is. I think I might have to sell the car soon as I need to get something else to drive my 3 year old son in. I would love to keep it, but I don't have a 3 car garage and it can't be parked in my driveway. John jcole3737@hotmail.com |

I posted some more detail on SVTCOBRA mustang club which I used to belong too. 93 Cobra 4 sale soon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have my 93 black cobra with leather, purchased new in Franklin TN back in Feb 04. I am single owner and the car is my daily driver. I have 201,000 miles on the car and am considering selling by early next year. If I had 3 car garage, I would keep it. I have to drive my 3 yr old son to daycare and this isn't the best car for that! I am going to post my mods pretty soon, I spent around $7K over past 2 years putting money into suspension, transmission, cooling, etc. Car still runs very good and sounds great, people ask me all the time in town if it is for sale, now I think I am getting closer to selling it. Car absolutely needs to be fully painted, also has hail damage, and since last month I can't open my passenger side door from outside or inside. It still looks good when it is cleaned, and that is usually when I get over the mood of wanting to sell it! An overview: Motor is stock with 201,000 Miles, push rods and valve springs were replaced at 20K miles when under warranty. No other engine problems since then. In garage half time, out garage when I was in college. Broken into twice, didn't steal car though. Both passenger and driver window were busted by the break in. One break in they bent up the passenger door getting in. Ford fixed. All my work done by Delk Performance in TN: Back in year 1996 installed: Mac long tubes headers, O/R H pipe, Flowmasters, 2.5 inch pipes all the way back. Still sounds great and passes emissions with no problem every year (I have shields welded on the H pipe to pass mirror test). Alum Driveshaft, 373 gears, PRO M 77 MAF, Kirbin short shifter, Eibach Springs Dec 2004 (friend who works at ford dealer) Rebuilt Transmission New Steering Rack with alumimun rack bushings Inner/Outer Tie Rods June 2005 (installed by Delk, I ordered my parts from Maximum Motorsports) Bilstein struts/shocks New Spring Isolators (I still have the Eibach springs back from 1996) New Ford front control arms, New Max Motorsports Rear Control Arms Rubber Busings replaced Full Length Subframe Connectors Sway Bar End Links **might be few more suspension items I didn't list, have to look back at order **ordered from Summit Racing, installed by Delk Fluidyne Alumimun Radiator New Radiator Hoses Clutch Front/Rear brake pads, rotors turned Black Magic Electric Fan Aluminum Water Pump Plugs, Wires, Thermostat, Ign Control Module, Rotor/Cap, Fuel Filter, tune up New Altenator Underdrive Pulleys Timing adjusted, Voltage adjusted **After all that installed (no problems before) some idle issues, would surge some at idle. Sometimes cut off on me if idle went to low, I have idle cranked up now, someone who knows how to tune can fix this (not sure if pulleys, timing, or what but I don't know how to troubleshoot that stuff). The RPM needle sometimes (might be once a month, might be each week) will drop all way down (but no loss in power), then goes back up. Something in that guage needs fixing. I fixed my broken console inside, also replaced armrest on both doors. Replaced the sunroof weatherstrip. I replaced all the front headlight lenses and installed new fog lights, looks much better than the faded yellow ones. P.S., my lower fog lights don't work, I can replace fuse and they work for day and then fuse blows. Heat works good, air cond decent, could use a recharge, certainly won't freeze you out but it does work. If interested, you can email me at jcole3737@hotmail.com with questions. I will take some pictures soon. |

Congrats, I know how hard it is to keep a car original for that long (I couldn't resist the urge to add a few bolt-ons). Did you ever have any of the spoiler cracks? Wasn't that mostly a Vibrant Red problem? Wayne Bender |

I have #777, At 205K I replaced the drive train and bump up the HP. It is still my daily driver at 278K. I need to replace the struts and shocks but not sure what is going to give me the same ride as the stock units. Regards, Greg Pieper Coiled93 #777 |

I have #3437, in the garage in pieces from a guy that raced it, then it was stolen, I've got all the parts but dragging my feet putting it together. The theft took all the cobra exclusive stuff but I got it all back, and some day it will live again.

| I've only been a member for a short time. I have #1182, it's teal with black cloth interior, and a removable sun-roof. I've made a few mods to it: Ford racing headers, h-pipe, 2 1/2' inch exhausts, under pullies, Mac cold air induction, 355 gear, aluminum drive shaft, pro 5.0 shifter. That's about it for now, but it sure is fun to drive. I'm the second owner, the first owner left the car completely stock. I kept all the original parts. Never raced it, but I'm starting to wonder what it will do in the quarter. Four years ago when I bought it had 50,000 miles on it, now it has 63,000. I drive it, that's what it's for. It's a real eye catcher. |

| I have #4379, teal with grey leather (seats) interior and sun roof. Second owner, it had 36K and was bone stock when I got it. Has 115K now with a few modest mods. Still fun and still gets a lot of looks from people who like classic cars. |

| I have one as well. I have a 93 Limited Edition SVT Cobra. Showroon condition. 5400 original miles. As a matter of fact, it has been a showcar on the showroom floor of my Ford dealership since 1995. She's # 3074 (black w/leather interior) She has a Vortech S-Trim SQ Supercharger @ 12psi. The supercharger has 118 miles on it. She's been dyno'd @ 508 rwhp, short-throw shifter, 4:11 gears, stainless steel headers and exhaust all the way back, Maximum Motorsports suspension including adjustable camber/caster plates, shocks, springs, sway bars, and strut tower brace and Redline tuning hood struts. She has black 5-point Cobra R rims all around and 275/40/ZR17's in te rear and 255/45/ZR17's in the front. I have all applicable documentation ie; original window sticker, original SVT certificate, Ford Motorsports ownership certificate and the original temporary tag that was put on her. She sleeps most of the time. I take her out of the showroom once a month to let her stretch her legs. She purrs beautifully with the standard slight whine sound at idle from the supercharger. She's been appraised @ 22,830 from a registered appraiser. |
