 The results are in!
The results from the poll show that most of you felt there were too many forums. The most popular choice, by far, was to consolidate them into chassis type, so that's what I've done.

Please let me know if you find any problems or I missed anything.

Thanks to Eric, for giving me a little kick and getting me started on the conversion.

I purshased these rims for my car and I,m now wondering if they are to wide . I sliped one of the rims on yhe front and they seem to stick out pretty far from the body . Can someone tell me is this right will it look right with 245/40/18 on the front 285/35 or 40 /18 on the rear . Any help would be greatly appreciated . Jeff

Lots of people have done this swap. What you're seeing is your smooth style fenders not sticking out quite as far (may be an optical illusion) as the '99+ fenders.

Staggered tires like you've suggested should help, but be careful to pick tire sizes that have almost the same rolling circumference. If the tires are too far off front to back, you'll trip the ABS light.

Thanks for your input SoCal94 . I was'nt aware of the ABS issue , would you know how much difference in size there could be and still work ? I did find that 255/45 and 285/40 were both 27''OAD in the tires I'm looking at . Thanks again Jeff.

Sorry - I don't know the limit for the ABS program. Maybe you could just check other folks who run staggered wheels/tires and see if they get an ABS indicator light?
