The results from the poll show that most of you felt there were too many forums. The most popular choice, by far, was to consolidate them into chassis type, so that's what I've done.
Please let me know if you find any problems or I missed anything.
Thanks to Eric, for giving me a little kick and getting me started on the conversion.

This probably isn't the right spot for this so moderator you are welcome to put it in classifieds if needed. I am always on the look-out for '94/95 Cobra-unique parts. If you hear of somebody parting one of these out, I would appreciate an email to waynenorcross@verizon.net. Conversely, if you are in dire need of something for your '94/95 (like oil cooler lines, etc) send me an email. I might have an extra or know who may. Thanks, Wayne |

Mee too!
Wayne - any sources for the oil cooler lines? Those were obsolete years ago, if I remember right. I am still using the originals!

Jim at PPI decided he wouldn't replicate them becuase of low demand, high start-up cost, and not wanting to deal with Ford on any licensing issues (yes, it's gotten that bad with Ford!). I just keep an eye on www.corral.net for '94/95 Cobras being parted out. Everybody wants the brakes from a Cobra but nobody thinks of te oil cooler lines so I can usually pick up a good set for $25 plus shipping or so. I also stock-up on the A/C lines running off of the back of the compressor when Ford discontinued them last year. If you aren't looking for totally original look, I still think you can creat your own by going to Autozone, buying some brake lines and rubber hose and make your own.

That's a real bummer - I can't see how you could replace them with hoses that aren't pre-formed. Any ideas for a hoses from another application that might do the job?

I was thinking of getting the proper size tubing (brake lines might work), laying it next to original, and with a tubing bender, duplicate the two metal lines. the area where they are connected together with a welded piece could be worked out.
I still say check Corral.net for '94/95 cars being parted out. I've bought 4 complete set-ups including the adapter that goes on the block now for less than $50 each. I even sold one to Jim at PPI so he could have one in stock. You might want to call him to see if he still has it.

I have a spare cooler... just wondering what happens when I finally replace my lines! I'll keep an eye out for these.
I think brake line is too small. These lines have an ID near 1/2", and brake lines usually have an ID of about 1/8". (Both guestimates). I like the 'copy it in metal' idea, though.

| Autozone carries brake line and hard fuel lines in some pretty big diameters. Just ask to go out back and look. They would be hanging in a display by size and length. Some truck lines get pretty big. |

I'll definitely do that!
A little black paint and it'll look stock.
